A native son of Rhode Island, Michael is known as a down-to-earth, experienced financial professional with a passion for helping people.

His driving goal is to assist all of his clients in achieving a financially-secure, well-balanced retirement plan to ensure they’re financially comfortable throughout their golden years.

A uniquely-qualified retirement advisor with decades of experience, Michael’s expertise in wealth management includes his years working at Merrill Lynch. Utilizing an innovative holistic approach, Michael takes pride in working one-on-one with clients to help them understand the “big picture” of their retirement.

By building an ongoing, evolving process of financial management, Michael establishes a true, long-term partnership with each of his clients. He believes this is essential to developing a well-rounded strategy designed specifically to achieve their individual financial goals. Michael is a fiduciary.

His proudest personal achievement is the success of his children – his son, who is a managing partner at their financial practice, and his daughter, a dedicated first responder.

When it comes to hobbies, boating is a passion Michael shares with his son and he enjoys flying planes. Both are pastimes that require Michael’s talent for navigating and paying close attention to detail – the same skills he aptly applies when advising his clients.

Alec Derderian

Born and raised in Rhode Island, Alec takes pride in being upfront and honest even when the truth may not be what people want to hear.

During his years in corporate banking, he felt that people weren’t always provided with the entire truth about their financial options.

Now a partner in his own practice, he is committed to providing clients with the information they need to make fully-informed, financial decisions.

Alec was inspired to become a retirement advisor after witnessing his father, Michael, help people change their lives due to sound financial guidance.

To date, his most powerful professional experience was working with a client battling serious health issues. Alec takes solace in the fact that he helped develop a financial plan that continues to comfortably provide for his client’s survivors.

In his personal life, Alec is thrilled to be an uncle to the “cutest niece anyone could ask for.” Along with his life partner, who earned her MBA and works in the investment industry, he lives with a Labrador Retriever named Brody. Alec enjoys traveling and, like his dad, he’s a boating enthusiast.

Together, father and son bring a sense of family to the work they do for their clients.
